What is “Catholic Culture”? How has it manifested itself historically? Is there a contemporary Catholic culture? Read Chesterton. Belloc, and others for credit and find the answers in CA 401.

DO YOU LIKE TO HASH-OUT PHILOSOPHIES OF GOVERNMENT, analyze history, talk about ideas of religion, survey Great Books, and debate Catholic perspectives on Church and State?

Then CA310: Catholic Political Thought is for you! Taught by Dr. Joseph T. Stuart from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, this course will survey Church and State relations in European and American history (focusing on the post-French Revolutionary period) as well as study the philosophical and theological foundations of Catholic Political Thought.
