Question: What do neck and shoulder rubs, math tutoring, craisins and electronic databases all have in common?

Answer: They are all part of a new AQ campus event called Exam Cram. Exam Cram is a concentrated effort to offer academic support to students the week before final exams. The support comes in the form of one-on-one tutoring, moderated study sessions, research assistance and writing help. So where do shoulder rubs and craisins fit in? Well they are two of the important components of Exam Cram that address the body, which include nightly refreshments, holistic massage, yoga and wellness tips. Most of

the activities take place in and around the Grace Hauenstein Library. The next Exam Cram will be held December 6 through December 13.

We have LOTS of activities currently planned, including Yoga & Yogurt, MOOSAGES in the Moose thanks to AQPB, and a jazz music night sponsored by the Music Department (our very own EXAM JAM, if you will)…. but there are many opportunities to provide excellent program throughout the day, over the weekend, etc! Submitted by Robert Abid

The brisk winds of fall and winter are becoming more prominent as November draws near, affecting warmth across the city, taking a toll on everyone, including the homeless.

But there is something that can be done. Aquinas College Campus Life and Campus Ministry are sponsoring a city wide program entitled "Warm Up Grand Rapids." All are invited to drop off their new or gently used clean blanket to the Campus Life Office, located in the Cook Carriage House, from now until Friday, November 6. The blankets will be distributed to the Homeless and Grand Rapids area shelters. Any type of blanket that you have to donate will be appreciated.

This is another opportunity for Aquinas to prove that AQ Makes All The Difference In The World. The need is real. The need is now.

Visit www.warmupgrandrapids.com for more information.

Brought to you by Campus Life and Campus Ministry.
